Why Nib
Every feature we didn't add was a deliberate choice.
Not disabled in settings. Not hidden behind a toggle. The WiFi chip does not exist inside Nib. Your notes stay on-device unless you export via USB.
Create a notebook. Name it. Write in it. Find it with search. That is the entire feature set — nothing competing for your attention.
E-ink only refreshes when something changes. Charge it once, put it in your bag, don't think about it for three weeks. Like a real notebook.
